'I got a warning citation from my HOA for parking my car in my driveway'
The gist of the letter, which is very condescending, tells this person that they simply cannot park any vehicle whatsoever in their driveway. Instead, they have to use the garage.
-
But here's the issue with that. This person can't fit all their vehicles in their garage
It's wild that they own a whole driveway and yet aren't permitted to use it, lest someone spot a car (gasp!!!) and be upset by seeing a car in a driveway. I genuinely don't understand the logic behind rules like this! What's even the point of having your own driveway if you can't actually use it?

Not JUST $260, mind you
They write that it's $260 per person. And yes, I imagine that is a yearly fee, unfortunately.

A lot of people began encouraging this person to try and run for an HOA position to take them down from the inside out
Honestly not a bad idea! Maybe they could change things on their own, making life better for literally everyone, except the money-grubbing HOA members, that is.
